I am another Libra – my birthday is mid October. I love the feeling in the air, the smells. And of course living where I do, the beautiful colors.

Oh yes, the beautiful colors! One of my trees in the yard changes early and it has already started its transition into a brilliant ruby, I love it!

I love the colors of fall … and doing the corn maze with my family, followed by cider and donuts … and the cool days, just enough chill to put on a soft sweatshirt!

So many birthdays — mine too! I’m a Scorpio and love the feeling of a new year come fall. But also the change in weather — I love layers and warmth!

It’s such a lovely kind of warmth this time of year!

I love the temperature change, apples, squash, and the return of sweaters. I always re-start outdoor exercise at this time of year, and it’s generally a busy work season as well. All of those things are wonderful, but my favorite part of Autumn is Indian Summer. One last opportunity to bask in the sun before turning inward for the winter.

Autumn is a time of gathering in, finding space for the things that will nourish and a sense that there is and will be enough no matter how long the winter lasts

I love that , MT, “finding the space for things that will nourish”…

I also love hiking in the changing leaves, and that “crunch” sound underfoot!

And soccer … fall always means soccer for our family … and I love watching my kids play soccer!

And probably much more pleasant than games during hot summer days! :)

Our wedding anniversary is October 12th. I felt like the greatest part of my life began when I created a family with this beautiful person. That is why October special to me.
